Center for Information Technology and Assurance (CITA)
The purpose of the WCU Center for Information Technology and Assurance (CITA) [see-tah] is to assist new and developing business and industry in the western North Carolina region to compete globally, and to serve as a superior platform for imparting real-world IT problem-solving skills and information assurance.

By identifying, developing, and guiding professional partnerships between regional business and industry and WCU business students, CITA offers the following advantages:

In collaboration with the Department of Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, and Economics, CITA administers a B.S.B.A. degree in Computer Information Systems through the Information Systems Program.
