I am genuinely excited to work at Western for the second time in my career. I recently retired from full-time state service as a speech language pathologist. Nineteen years were spent in the public schools, seven years were working with preschoolers through the WCU Speech and Hearing Center, and four years were servicing families with children birth to three years of age at the Children's Developmental Services Agency.
My favorite pastimes include reading, walking, going with my husband to our son's baseball games, and sitting on the beach just to hear the waves. As Western alumni, my husband and I both say "Go Cats!"
