Flu Shots Available – Students can get their flu shots at the Student Health Center for only $12. Flu shots will be available in early November.  Students can call 828-227-7640 for an appointment.

Adding money to Cat Cards - Is your student’s Cat Card declining balance account running low?  Students can check their balances on MyCat and family members can add money directly onto cards on the following website.  Remember – funds added into the ‘CatCash’ category are NOT taxed!  CatCash payment site: https://amex.wcu.edu/BannerCCPmts/

Family Weekend October 24 – 26, 2008 – We are looking forward to hosting the families of our students and showing off Western’s fall colors!

- Registration for spring 2009 will be held October 23 – November 4
- October 24th – last day to withdraw from classes with a ‘W’
- October 28th – Engineering, Computer Science and Math Career Fair
- October 28th – Education Recruitment Day
- October 29th – Graduate School and Corporate Career Expo
