The five members of Dehlia Low will get the music started at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of WCU’s Mountain Heritage Center. Performers of old-time and bluegrass music are invited to bring their instruments and take part in the jam session that will follow their presentation.
Performing bluegrass, early country and original music, Dehlia Low is composed of Anya Hinkle, fiddle; Stacy Claude, guitar; Aaron Balance, dobro and pedal steel guitar; Bryan Clendenin, mandolin; and Greg Stiglets, bass.
The concert/jam series will continue through March, with all the once-a-month programs held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursdays. Other performers scheduled to present shows are Ian Moore and Hal Herzog on Dec. 4, the Stuart Brothers on Jan. 8, and Ken Bloom on March 5.
The concerts are free and open to everyone. Pickers and singers of all ages and experience levels are invited to take part in the jam sessions.
