Revis James, director of the Energy Technology Assessment Center of the Electric Power Research Institute, will make a presentation titled “The ElectriNet – Creating the Electricity Network of the Future” at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in the theater of A.K. Hinds University Center.
EPRI, an independent, nonprofit research organization founded in 1973, identifies challenges related to electricity generation, delivery and use on a global level, and supports collaborative development of solutions to those challenges.
The institute’s ongoing research includes an analysis of how efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions will affect electricity production and delivery.
