Prospective college students who want to find out what college life is all about will have an opportunity to get their questions answered as Western Carolina University holds Open House on Saturday, Feb. 17.
Hosted by WCU’s Office of Admissions, Open House gives students and their families a chance to explore the campus; visit residence halls, classrooms and the library; and learn about extracurricular activities. Western faculty members will be on hand to discuss academic opportunities and career interests.
The day’s events will begin with registration and an information fair from 8:30 to 11 a.m. in the A.K. Hinds University Center. Students and their parents will have a chance to meet with faculty members, guided tours of campus will be given, residence halls will be open for viewing, and lunch will be available in the cafeteria on a pay-as-you-go basis.
For reservations or more information, call the Office of Admissions at (828) 227-7317, or toll free at (877) WCU4YOU (928-4968).
