We are pleased you will be joining the Western family. Orientation will serve as a bridge for you and your family in making the transition to life at Western Carolina University.

You will have the opportunity to meet other new students and their family members, Student Orientation Counselors, and many of Western's faculty and staff. Our individual academic advisement staff will assist you in the registration process and you will return home with your schedule. All that you'll need to do when you get home is pack for the move!

Plan to bring your family so that they can get acquainted with Western and learn about all the opportunities for them to get involved as well as the demands and concerns that accompany campus life.

We'll be looking for you soon as we share time with you and your family as you take that first step into your future.
