Cirque Le Masque, a sophisticated European-style circus, will take the stage on Thursday, March 1, at 7:30 p.m. Oblivious to the forces of gravity, Cirque Le Masque incorporates dance and mime with acrobatics, lavish costumes and special effects.
The March 1 performance is sold out.
Wood and Strings Theatre will present a double-feature on Saturday, March 17, at 3 p.m. “Out of the Mist: A Dragon” will incorporate classic Japanese Bunraku puppets to reach into the world of myth and legend. The slapstick production “An Ire-ish Tale” will be performed with “larger-than-life” body puppets to tell the story of elves and brownies on the Emerald Islands.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for senior citizens 60 and older, $20 for WCU faculty and staff, and $5 for students ages 5 and up. Group rates also are available.

Sunday, April 15 – “Amadeus,” a performance by the Atlantic Ballet Theatre of Canada, 3 p.m.
Friday, April 27 – The Capitol Steps, a traveling troupe performing political satire, 7:30 p.m.
