Sholder to return to China for film studio project

At Western, we start with the story. From screenplay through post-production, whether in fiction or non-fiction forms, our philosophy is to use technology in service of the material they create.
Why? Because that's what we've learned as film-industry professionals. Every one of our professors has professional filmmaking experience. We'll take you step-by-step through the process, teaching you not only how to use state-of-the-art digital equipment but what the thinking is behind the technique, so you won't be caught short when technology changes.
We are a hands-on program, getting you behind the cameras (and into the editing room and doing jobs you never knew were part of filmmaking). At the same time, we'll be teaching you the history, culture, and art of film and TV.
