Regular season Southern Conference champion Western Carolina (23-9) will host former SoCon foe East Tennessee State (20-11) this Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Ramsey Center in the first round of the Postseason Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT). The announcement came just after 11:30 p.m. on Monday following the NCAA selection process.
