Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

ABET Definition:  Program Educational Objectives are broad statements that describe the career and professional accomplishments that the program is preparing graduates to achieve.

  1. Assume entry-level positions in the professional practice of electrical engineering, including graduate education.
  2. Participate effectively on engineering design teams while recognizing design problem constraints and the impact of solutions.
  3. Apply appropriate mathematics, current engineering design tools and effective written and oral communications to engineering practice.
  4. Apply appropriate strategies to maintain professional and ethical responsibility, to engage in lifelong learning, and to develop a knowledge of contemporary issues.
