H1N1 Flu Information

March 11, 2010

Health Services continues to monitor flu activity on campus.

The H1N1 influenza continues circulating worldwide, however, health officials in North Carolina have seen a steady decrease in the number of new cases since December 2009. Although university students, faculty and staff could still be exposed to someone with H1N1 flu, either on or off campus, and contract the illness, the current infection rates on campus remain very low.

Students, faculty and staff have done a good job at helping prevent the spread of flu virus using proper prevention techniques and we continue to monitor the situation for a new outbreak of flu.

Regular updates will be made to this site when any new information becomes available.
