English Academic Programs
A degree in English can take you a lot of different places in life. In fact, English may be the best preparation for any career. Our programs reflect that philosophy, offering coursework with expert faculty in a wide range of disciplines.
As an undergraduate, you may decide to major in English,choosing from a range of concentrations including journalism, motion picture studies, and professional writing. Or if you choose another major, you can augment your studies with a minor in English.
Students in our graduate programs pursue masters-level coursework in literature, rhetoric and composition, linguistics, teaching theory and practice, and professional and creative through three degree programs.
