WCU extends deadline for tuition deposits to Aug. 1
5/28/2008 - Western Carolina University’s Office of Admission has extended the tuition deposit deadline for the 2008 fall semester until Aug. 1 in response to concerns expressed by prospective freshmen and their parents in the face of an economic downturn that threatens to drag on into the summer.
“We are hearing the concerns of students and parents, who are trying to adjust to the realities of the current economy, by leaving our deposit deadline open until August,” said Alan Kines, director of undergraduate admission at WCU. “As a service to our families, we want to give them as much time as we can so that they can make the financial adjustments that have become necessary for many people in the face of economy.”
