Become a Tutor
If you are interested in becoming a CAT Center Tutor, please follow these steps to apply for a position:
- Review the Tutor Qualifications to make sure you are eligible for a tutoring position.
- Read the Tutor Job Description.
- If you feel you would be a good fit for a CAT Center tutoring position, complete the Tutor Application (pdf) and drop it off in the Center (30 Hunter Library). If there is an opening for the class(es) you are qualified to tutor, you will be contacted for an interview.
- Print out the Tutor Contract (pdf) and bring it with you to your interview.
- View the "WCU Security Awareness Presentation,” print out and complete the Security Training Form (pdf), and bring the form to your interview.
- Bring one of the following forms of identification to your interview in order to verify your employment eligibility: a certified birth certificate, an official Social Security card, or a Passport.
